Our Recommendations for a Healthy, Happy and Well-Behaved Puppy
**Remember what may be cute when your puppy is small may not be something you will want him/her doing as an adult**

    • Hand feeding from the beginning
    • Vaccinations on time (6,8,12,14 weeks)
    • Yearly shots
    • Sit, Stay and down commands from as early as 8 weeks
    • Puppies need boundaries
       • Limit furniture play
       • You are the only alpha in your pack
       • Never allow a puppy to cross doorways or stairs ahead of you
    • Select premium, high quality food. Beware of corn (can lead to hyperactivity)
    • Socialize!
       • Pet and hold your puppy
       • Introduce him/her to lots of people, dogs and experiences
       • Make sure all are positive
    • Get on and keep a schedule of feeding, resting, playing and pottying
    • Boxers are intelligent dogs. If they are bored- they will find something to do, often it is not
what you would want them to do. Your job- find ways to channel this intelligence. For some-
agility, tracking or creative ways to play/explore
