Freedom Boxers is dedicated to our lost family members, whose time with us was too short:
BusterBuster
Sweet Talkin' Buster Brind: Our first AKC Boxer Whelped 02/26/97

Buster was our first baby - and our first Boxer. That was 11 years ago, and we didn't know anything about confirmation, we just wanted a Boxer. He was a good boy - and he went everywhere with us... even on vacations! He slept in our bed and welcomed our baby daughter into our home. He died at the young
  TessaTessa
Our first rescue Boxer: Whelped 12/31/99

We will miss you, Tessa, ol' girl. You were part of our family - a part that is gone.
There will never be another like you. We will miss your snoring, and your cold nose-hogging the bed at night and snatching food off the table when no one was watching. We will miss your comforting looks and sloppy kisses. You were loyal and true - a
  DukeDuke
Our rescue Boxer who died too young: Whelped 02/05/04

Duke was our next rescue dog. We had such a wonderful experience with Tessa, we decided to rescue another Boxer. Duke was a big boy - 78 pounds - but a gentle giant. He died of a sudden heart attack at the age of three. It was after losing Duke that we decided we couldn't stand to lose

age of five of lymphoma cancer.   beloved pet and friend. Sleep well, girl and we will see you on the bridge!   another Boxer so young. So, we set out to find the best Boxer puppies we could - fully researching health pedigree as well as confirmation.

The Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes the Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food , water, and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing, they miss someone very special to them ,who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head , and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long ago gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together...
